When I started with this project, I was very excited. I really felt that this project was something I would like. It seems right now, during the project, that this all got less but that wasn't the case. I really liked finding out about these NGO's, setting up the debate and asking friends and family to reply on it. Further, I think I have learned a lot about the influence of Social Media. Not by just looking at my own debate, but also by replying on the other debates and reading them.
As our main goal was to find out the influence of Social Media on this natural disaster, our debate was about this:
"Do you think that without social media, so no Facebook, Twitter, etc., just TV and radio, the same amount of money would have been collected?"
Since it is a debate, everybody could give their own opinion and they did. At first, it seemed as if most people thought that without Social Media not as much money would have been collected, but then others said that there would have, if Social Media wasn't used.
