Facts as of 12/13

On the thirteenth of december, nearly five weeks after typhoon Haiyan devastated the Philippines, these were the facts:

  •  Over 6000 people have been reported dead. 
  • Almost 2000 people are still missing. 
  • Over 27000 are reported as injured.
  • Close to 4 million people were displaced (forced from their homes) 
  • 11.8 million people affected.
  • 995 evacuation centres.
